WEALTH - PART 1

Financial Plumbing 101 or, How Finding and Fixing a "Money Leak" Immediately Saved Me $2,142 and How YOU Can Do It, Too! By Rebecca Fine.

Not long ago I had the opportunity to meet and learn (a LOT!) from Dr. Maria Nemeth, the author of the terrific book, The Energy of Money. And what a gift that was! Now, Maria has a list of credentials as long as your arm that make it abundantly clear that she knows what she's talking and writing about. But when she stands up to speak, the REAL proof shines through. You cannot be long in her presence without recognizing that here is one smart, funny, articulate, and wonderfully caring person who has "been there, done that," and knows how to get right to the heart of our confusion and denial about the place and power of money in our lives.

Better yet, she knows how to help us see for ourselves what needs doing and shows — not just tells — us how to go about it. So today I'm pleased to get to share with you (in a longer than usual edition) just a tiny bit of Maria's practical wisdom.

And then I'll tell you about that $2,142 and point you toward more great stuff from Maria! Now, you may be wondering about that title, The Energy of Money. But if you'll stop to think about it, you'll see that it fits right in with our understanding of what Mr. Wattles writes -- that everything is created from the one "formless substance." There are other kinds of energy, of course — like creativity, spiritual power, physical vitality, enjoyment, relationship, and others. And, as Maria puts it, in each of these areas we can either be frustrated or fulfilled.

So the question becomes:
How can we be "conscious conduits of energy" in order to bring our dreams out of the formless realm of ideas and into physical reality? See if Maria's illustration helps you as much as it does me. First, what do we mean by "conduit?" Well, a conduit is something that allows energy to move in an orderly way from one place to another. For example, a water pipe moves water from the well or reservoir to your faucets. So, in your mind's eye, picture a body of water on the left side, and the water tap in, say, your kitchen on the right. Now connect the two with a pipeline. Now the pipe can move the energy of water in an orderly way from the source to the outlet. And that's what WE want to do with the energy of money: Move it in an orderly way from the Source, which we know is unlimited, to the place where it can "water the garden of our goals and dreams."

But in the normal life of a conduit, what happens? Sludge accumulates and leaks spring up. When we're not aware that’s happening, of course, our usual response is simply to turn the tap further — to call for more. But when more energy tries to come through, the leaks just get bigger and the sludge builds up more and increases the pressure until ... the pipe may burst. And now we've got a real mess on our hands. See, the SOURCE is unlimited, but the physical CONDUIT is another story!

Many of us are in just this state of disrepair as money conduits. We’ve got loads of SLUDGE built up that's keeping the energy from getting through. And that sludge shows up in the form of UNFINISHED MONEY BUSINESS.Ugh. Most of us have a little or a lot of sludge like this:
Do you have a will and other necessary legal documents to protect the financial interests of your loved ones? Yes? Great! No? SLUDGE.

Are you free of debt (or on a plan to pay it down)? Are all your financial records neat and up to date? Is your checkbook balanced to the penny? How about your taxes? Do you owe any $$ to friends or family that you've just sort of "forgotten" about (but that is hanging over you like a black cloud?) Is your home office neat and tidy? (How about your garage? Yes, it's related!) Any other questions you can think of? ;-)

OK, take a deep breath and relax. We'll get to solutions in a minute, but first let's look at the LEAKS. Now, I know YOU probably never do any of this, but I've known some of these quite intimately:

Spend money on stuff we don't need or even really want (for a whole truckload of "reasons" that would take several editions of this newsletter to cover!) Spend money without even being aware of it, perhaps just out of unconscious habit. Give money we don't really want to give — just because we think we should, or to "look good," or for other not truly generous reasons. Lend money, often for the same reasons as just above and often to people who we know in advance won't pay it back. Pick up the check so everyone will think we're cool (for about five seconds) or do similar things to "buy" affection, etc. And I'm sure you can add to this list!

So here we are — leaky, sludgy pipes all. And meanwhile we’re busily creating our mental images of what we WANT our lives to look and be like, expressing gratitude for what we have already, learning to be creative rather than competitive, and affirming and/or praying for MORE.

But remember the image of the WATER pipe? "When more energy tries to come through, the leaks just get bigger and the sludge builds up more and increases the pressure until ... the pipe may burst. And now we've got a real mess on our hands." Yikes! What's wrong with this picture? Could it be that "thinking and acting in the certain way" also means that we must be responsible for learning the skills necessary to make best use of the money and other resources we are given?

Could it be that if we TRULY understand the power of gratitude and want to express it authentically, we must also be careful not to WASTE what is already coming to us?

Join me in Part 2 and we'll see how we can take simple and authentic action RIGHT NOW to clean up the conduit and get the energy of money flowing free!

LIVE LOVE LAUGH

When love beckons to you follow him, Though his ways are hard and steep. And when his wings enfold you yield to him, Though the sword hidden among his pinions may wound you. And when he speaks to you believe in him, Though his voice may shatter your dreams as the north wind lays waste the garden. For even as love crowns you so shall he crucify you. Even as he is for your growth so is he for your pruning. - The Prophet by Gibran Khalil Gibran.

The past cannot be changed, the future is still in your power. - Hugh White

CELEBRATE Our Differences & Nature's GIFTS! ~~*Click To Discover The Caribbean!*~~

The first part of my life experience took place in Guyana, South America. My most vivid recollections of this beautiful country are solidly connected to nature. The wind rustling through the millions of leaves on majestic trees. Tropical birds of many brilliant colours that any artist would relish still stands out in my mind. Their songs were a part of my introduction, which led to my deep appreciation for music.

I was always transfixed by the clouds that gracefully floated across the azure sky. They seemed to hover just out of reach but close enough that you could be swayed into thinking you could touch them. Their beauty was absolutely magnificent. I would spend hours staring up at them and felt completely connected. My reward for appreciating their beauty was illusionary, yet the readily identifiable moving shapes expanded my mind.

Like endlessly soft wads of cotton puffs they invitingly floated, danced and shifted shapes for me and I often wished that I would grow tall enough to reach out and become a part of them. Guyana is also the place where I had been most at peace. By being in tune with nature, we automatically connect to the inner source of peace and inspiration. Nature is universal and provides the energy that connects and sustains us.

If we are to look outside of ourselves for Inspiration, Wealth & Success, we must first align with the universal source.

Please donate whatever you can in your specific area to help restore balance to the lives in Guyana touched by the floods.

INSPIRATION - Click For A ~FREE~ Gift!

GRATITUDE

Today I got to thinking about all the moments in my life that I have felt inspired and the cause of it. I realized that at those points when I feel that way, it was because someone had shown gratitude for something I had done for them, or someone did something for me and I was truly grateful for it. Kindness seems to foreshadow gratitude and inspiration. When we maintain that feeling, we continue to accomplish great things.

I have discovered that when we lock into the feeling of being grateful, we nurture the very essence of our spirit. Being grateful rewards you with a sense of peace, contentment, and the knowledge that if we trust this particular feeling, the things that we are seeking will undoubtedly begin to blossom and show up in our lives.

First however, we have to recognize that everything we seek, comes from within us. Our desires on all levels are born in our thoughts before they can be manifested. Therefore, for my thoughts, I am truly grateful.

Below is an excerpt from my FREE GIFT to you today. Read and then click the Inspiration link at the top of the post for your own copy!

My hope is you will also continue to discover Inspiration, Wealth & Success.

"So how does a grateful person, one who has worked through the first four steps of the law of gratitude, act? It’s really simple – they give! They give money, time, support, encouragement, everything.

Because they are grateful for what they have, they give it away. Because they know that they live in an abundant, friendly, cause and- effect universe, they know that by giving, they make receiving possible. If you really want to understand the power of giving, you have to look at everything you have, not as “stuff”, but as evidence of a flowing current, a river of abundance.

When you give, you are demonstrating your confidence in that abundance and your gratitude for it. You are making room for more to come.

You know what they call a lake with water coming in, but with no outlet? The Dead Sea.

By giving gratefully and continuously, you place yourself squarely in the flow of life and become both an inlet and an outlet for the abundant universe to work through. “By thought the thing
you want is brought to you. By action you receive it.” Wallace Wattles.

“Prosperity is not in the possession of things, but in the recognition of supply, and in the knowledge of free and open access to an inexhaustible storehouse of all that is good.” - Charles Fillmore."

WEALTH

When we think of wealth and acquiring it, we usually do so in the material sense. Wealth is most often often translated to be the amount of property we own, money we have, investments, expensive cars, jewellery and all of the obvious symbols surrounding wealth we either possess or yearn to.

Money is considered the root of all evil in some circles, while to others it is a prized possession and they dictate their lives around it. For most, it is the goal which they are attempting to accomplish. Money is universal and an energy that flows all around us. Although money can be destructive when used incorrectly, the fact is, we need it and have every right to pursue and acquire it. Money changes lives, it brings joy and relieves stress from the spirit. "If the good samaritan only had good intentions, no one would remember him. He had money as well." - Margaret Thatcher. I totally agree with Margaret!

However, money and material possessions are not the only symbols of wealth. There is a source of wealth that is far greater than any material accoutrement we may desire, or possess. That wealth is the source which sustains us. It is the wealth of the soul and spirit, it comes from those things in our lives which we are truly grateful for, and which brings up immense joy and happiness. This source to wealth can only be gained through feeding the soul and nourishing the spirit. Once we acquire this type of wealth, our abilitiy to acquire other types of wealth is limitless.

Have you ever made a list of the great wealth you possess? the things in your life that you are truly grateful for, and that money could never purchase? If you have never done this, I challenge you to do so and you may see that you are so rich that it gives new meaning to your perspective of wealth. You may discover like I did that wealth is naturally a part of our spirit.

I continuously wish you Inspiration, Wealth & Success.

SUCCESS *~Click~*

On a daily basis every person on our planet pursues success. At some point in the pursuit, success can seem elusive, especially when we feel we most need it. But the fact of the matter is, in order to be successful, we must consistently maintain a certain mind set. Even when we appear to be failing. Whatever ideal situation we are pursuing in life, it is absolutely necessary to understand the universal law of achievement.

This unwritten law surrounds us all and is always there for us to utilize if we unequivocally acknowledge that in order to be successful at anything, we have to first see ourselves as being it. Believing you will attain your goals, and keeping a clear picture of that which you are hoping to achieve firmly in your thoughts GUARANTEES success. The minute you start second guessing your decisions and yourself, you have let go of imminent success.

If you keep in mind, according to Laing Burns Jr., "Success often comes to those who have the aptitude to see way down the road." how can you fail? "You are what you are by what you believe!" - Oprah Winfrey. Therefore, when inspired by your goals or ideas, use that incredibly powerful moment to plant the seeds for future abundant wealth, and tremendous success.

INSPIRATION - *Click Here*

What can those moments of inspiration bring into our lives if we consistently opened our minds and followed through with it?

Have you ever second-guessed your ideas? Buried your vision of what could possibly be a miraculous invention or a life-sustaining gift? We all have moments where our thoughts are illuminated and the ideas are magnificent. We may spend a few minutes, days, or even years pondering over them. We see the possibilities contained within, get excited by the picture beyond the idea, and then recognize that it may take some work outside of our comfort zones so we discard it and move on.

Our busy lives can be distracting, our family responsibilities may be demanding, our financial situations may be deteriorating and we feel desperate. All these things amongst others may require our immediate attention and the anxiety and frustration around them can overwhelm our lives.

Who has the time or the energy at the end of a hectic day to explore an idea? It may simply seem easier to discard it than take on additional tasks. But "what if" we started living our lives by vision and thought? What would happen if we consciously dive within those moments when an idea is born and allowed it to take shape and produce a form? How much richer would our lives be?

"What If" is a very powerful beginning to any sentence because the words that follow can open the doors to millions of possibilities and remarkable outcomes. Every single type of business, structure, and invention began with an idea and was most likely followed with the words "what if" until it took the various forms we see and use today.

So, "what if" we all lived our lives with the definite knowledge that anything we want can and will come into being? "What if" all we needed to do was ask and then opened ourselves to receiving it? "What if" we allowed ourselves to follow up and through on those ideas, inspirations and moments of truth? What would happen to our lives? I believe that we can transform our existence to anything we want or picture it to be.

By simply allowing ourselves to trust ourselves in creating the things we need and are inspired to do, we will get to that place where we picture ourselves to be. If the picture is positive, we will create the positive and vice versa. It was Ralph Waldo Emerson who said, "Once you make the decision, the universe conspires to make it happen." What kinds of decisions are you making? Have you just tossed out a life changing idea? Have you let go of Inspiration, Wealth & Success?
